Initiate Exit Process

Employee exit can be initiated manually by Employee, Manager and HR manager.

Initiate Exit as an Employee

  1. To initiate exit as Employee, log in as employee and go to Process tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Personal Data and click Initiate exit.

3. The Capture Resignation page appears that shows an approval workflow as shown in Figure 2.

4. Fill in the details like type and reason for exit, date of resignation, last working day and remarks in the Type of Exit, Reason, Resignation date, Last date in company and Notes fields.

5. Click on Apply button to submit exit request to the approver (depending upon the workflow).

Initiate Exit as a Manager

1. To initiate exit of the team member, log in as Manager and go to Process tab to view team members.

2. Click on View the entire team in the View your team section.

3. My team page displays all the team members. Hover the mouse on the arrow near to the profile image of the team member. A menu appears where you can click Initiate exit.

4. Fill in the details like type and reason for exit, eligible for rehire, date of resignation, last working day, exit interview details and remarks in the Type of Exit, Reason, Eligible for rehire, Resignation date, Last date in company, Final interview by and Notes fields.

5. Click on Apply button to submit exit request to the approver (depending upon the workflow).

Initiate Exit as an HR Manager

1. To initiate exit, login as an HR manager and go to the Process tab and to view team members.

2. Click View the entire team in the View your team section (as shown in Figure 5) or hover the mouse on the arrow near to the profile image of the team member. A menu appears where you can click Initiate exit.

3. The Capture Resignation page appears where you can fill details like type and reason for exit, eligibility for rehire, date of resignation, last working day, exit interview details and remarks in the Type of Exit, Reason, Eligible for rehire, Resignation date, Last date in company, Final interview by and Notes fields.

4. Select the checkbox Send survey to the exiting employee if you wish the employee to fill in a survey form about their experience in the organization and reason for exit. This helps in exit analysis. From the Select dropdown, select a suitable exit survey.

5. Click on Apply button to submit exit request to the approver (depending upon the workflow).
