The Configure My Buddies functionality allows you to set the filter criteria to allow the search of buddies by the employees of the company. The employees can search the buddies and add them to the My Buddies tab of the My HR page.
The My Buddies tab displays the important dates of the buddies such as their date of joining anniversary, their birthdays, the days on which they are on leave etc.
To set the filter criteria for buddy selection, you need to:
1. Log in as HR Manager.
2. Go to Settings >> Employee Portal Setup >> My Buddy Settings.
3. Select the criteria on which you want to allow the selection of buddies from the Select Criteria field on Configure My Buddies page, as shown in Figure 1.
4. Click Save.
The filter criteria is successfully saved and a message suggesting the same appears, as shown in Figure 2.
The employees can now search their buddies on the selected criteria.
